Book editing. In 2009, I edited the Publisher's Weekly-starred anthology, Behind the Bedroom Door: Getting It, Giving It, Loving It, Missing It (Delacorte, 2009), featuring best selling writers Cheryl Strayed, Susanna Sonnenberg, Susan Cheever, Lauren Slater, Lori Gottlieb and Julie Powell, among others. My own writing has been published in Self and the New York Times Modern Love column.
Writing workshops and private editing. I teach my own workshops on the personal essay, as well as at CUNY Grad School of Journalism and MediaBistro. I'm available for writing and editing projects, and college application essay coaching.
